Garden rescue

Rescue the plants before the bulldozer

Renovations, patios, driveways, and new construction send healthy shrubs and perennials to the landfill every week. Post them here first and neighbors will come dig.

How a rescue works

  1. 1

    Post before demo day

List the plants, add photos, and set your dig-by date.

  2. 2

    Neighbors claim

Rescuers claim what they can transplant and confirm a time.

  3. 3

    Dig day

Rescuers bring shovels, pots, and tarps. Site stays clean.

  4. 4

    Replanted

Plants go into home gardens, schools, and community beds.
